The Primary Learning Academy is comprised of the Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade. In this academy, we have implemented an innovative "Reading First" Program that focuses on developing reading, writing, and oral language skills across the curriculum. Literacy is the building block of all education and the Reading First Program is geared to build on each child's existing skills offering challenges and support as needed. The cornerstone of the program moves beyond decoding words and ensures that students build comprehension skills, thinking skills and that they are able to express themselves clearly.

The Intermediate Preparatory Academy includes 3rd grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade. This academy aside from continuing to sharpen the children's academic skills, introduces the technology skills needed to become successful in the 21st century. The children also learn about "Digital Citizenship" – responsible and ethical use of technology, and become proficient in basic productivity applications including typing and word processing.

The Junior High Information Technology and Preparatory Academy is made up of the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. The children receive departmentalized instruction encompassing the use of technology in every aspect of the curriculum as they prepare for High School. The students begin to embrace the skills and knowledge they will need to succeed in our digital age. They continue to perfect their academic skills and embrace new ways of learning. There is continued emphasis on responsible and ethical use of technology as the students expand their use of technology in their learning. Students learn to become globally aware through our connections with students around the world. They embrace digital literacy learning to find, evaluate and utilize information to further their learning and solve real world problems. The students work to become self -directed learners who not only seek information but create products to communicate knowledge in a variety of digital formats.

With the creation of our Academies and our emphasis on technology we offer a truly relevant Catholic education for the 21st century.
